Electoral Officer Names Assistant, Announces Dates and Locations

Officer Lindsay LeBorgne announced today that Arlene Jacobs has agreed to serve as the Assistant Electoral Officer for the 2009 Mohawk Council of Kahnaw�:ke Elections.

�We both served on Council, and that is a great advantage,� said Mr. LeBorgne. �Ms. Jacobs is trustworthy and isn�t afraid of hard work.�

As well, the following dates and locations have been announced/confirmed:

1. Nomination Day: Saturday, May 30, 10am to 12 noon. Social Development Unit (Services Complex). 2. Candidates Night: Monday, June 22, 6pm. Legion Hall. 3. Special Advance Poll: Saturday, June 27, 9am to 12 noon. Election Office (Ross House, across from Youth Center). 4. Election Day: Saturday, July 4, 9am to 6pm. Kateri School.
