Seigneury Report Made Available to Community

The Mohawk Council of Kahnaw�:ke (MCK) has announced that the final report on the Seigneury of Sault St. Louis that it commissioned in 2007 is now available to the public.

The report contains community members� opinions on what type(s) of compensation they would like to see upon settlement of the Seigneury land grievance.

The document was independently prepared by the Ratirhiwaro:roks Seigneury Community Group and presented to Chief & Council, for the second time, on 8 Ohiar�:ha/June for formal acceptance.
