More Bears Spotted In Tiower�:ton

The Mohawk Council of Kahnaw�:ke would like to inform all Kahnawa�kehr�:non that another mother bear and her cubs have been spotted around the garbage dumpsters in Tiower�:ton. Caretakers are advising community members to use extreme caution when approaching the area.

The same situation occurred earlier this summer with a different set of bears. Those animals were captured, transported near a lake on the opposite side of the Territory and released.

Please refrain from sending children to empty the trash and use caution at all times when approaching the dumpsters until the bears are captured and transported out of the area.
