Caution: More Bears in Tiower�:ton

The Lands Unit of the Mohawk Council of Kahnaw�:ke would like to advise all Kahnawa�kehr�:non to refrain from using the dumpsters in the Tiower�:ton territory. Caretakers have confirmed additional bear sightings with some showing aggressive behavior.

To prevent a possible bear confrontation at your cabin, please ensure that you do not leave garbage or recycling outside. Caretakers will be making rounds and will knock at your cabin to ask if you have any garbage or recycling to dispose until it is deemed safe to use the dumpsters.
