2009 Annual Three Sisters Health & Harvest Fair

The Kahnaw�:ke Environment Protection Office (KEPO) of the Mohawk Council of Kahnaw�:ke is pleased to announce the date and theme for the 2009 Annual Three Sisters Health & Harvest Fair. The �Kahnaw�:ke Greenthumbs� Harvest Fair will be held at the Knights of Columbus Hall on Sunday, Kent�nha / October 18th, 2009 from 11 am to 4 pm.

The �Kahnaw�:ke Greenthumbs� theme will feature a photo contest of Kahnawa'kehr�:non gardens throughout the community and information on planting and harvesting your own garden. A winner of the photo contest will be chosen at the closing of the Harvest Fair.

To enter the contest, submit a photo of your garden in paper or digital format to KEPO by Friday, October 2nd at 4pm. Please include a few words describing the photo or add a personal caption that you feel will appeal to the judging panel.

All entries will be judged based on how well it encourages others to garden, the appeal of the photo and written description of the garden submitted.
