Funeral Arrangements Announced

The Mohawk Council of Kahnaw�:ke (MCK) has announced the funeral arrangements for the late Russel Curotte.

Visitation will be at the Poissant and Deer Funeral Home starting at 7pm tomorrow (Wednesday) evening. A Traditional service will be held at the Mohawk Trail Longhouse on Friday at 2pm, followed by burial at the Kahnaw�:ke Protestant Cemetery.

Curotte, the Director of the MCK Land Unit, passed away last week while on a hunting trip with friends.

Also, the MCK would like to offer its sincerest condolences to the family of Chief John Dee Delormier, whose father Johnny Delormier passed away on Saturday. Visitation is at the Poissant and Deer Funeral Home, with the funeral to be held at the St. Francis Xavier Church in Kahnaw�:ke at 11am tomorrow (Wednesday).
