Kahnaw�:ke Justice System Session Date Confirmed, Time Changed

The Interim Legislative Coordinating Committee would like to inform all Kahnawa�kehr�:non that the hearing for a proposed Kahnaw�:ke justice system has been confirmed for Wednesday, 4 Kentenhk�:wa/ November at the Kahnawake Moose Lodge.

However, the time has been changed in order to avoid a conflict with a Visioning Project meeting scheduled on the same date during the daytime hours. Therefore, the session will take place from 6 to 9pm, instead of the originally announced time of 1 to 4pm.

The Kahnaw�:ke Justice Commission is using the new Community Decision Making Process to ask for a mandate to proceed in the creation of a Kahnaw�:ke justice system. Community members are reminded that any and all developments related to the process are immediately made available on the Community Decision Making Process website (www.kahnawakemakingdecisions.com) as well as through other means, such as media releases and advertising.
