Mercier Bridge: complete night closure of ramp 3

The Mohawk Council of Kahnaw�:ke wishes to inform road users that the Jacques Cartier and Champlain Bridges Incorporated and the Minist�re des Transports du Qu�bec will completely close Ramp 3 (off-ramp toward Ch�teauguay) to traffic from 9pm Thursday, March 25th to Friday, March 26th at 5am.

Road users driving to Ch�teauguay will detour to the off-ramp toward La Prairie, take highway 132 and make a U-turn at the Old Malone light (GD�s Garage) then take the service road connecting highway 132 to highway 138. Users can also continue on highway 132 east and take highway 30 in direction of Ch�teauguay.

Road signs will be in place to guide traffic to the appropriate detour road.

This closure will allow the contractor to do post-tensioning work on Ramp 3 by installing steel shafts that will be anchored and tightened under the bridge structure.

Please note that work may be postponed due to unfavorable weather conditions and the delivery of all necessary equipment. The work would then be rescheduled to the night of Friday, March 26th to Saturday, March 27th.
