MCK to meet with Native Affairs Minister

The Mohawk Council of Kahnaw�:ke wishes to inform the community that Intergovernmental Portfolio Chief Mike Bush and Mike O�Brien (Chief of Staff, Office of the Council of Chiefs) will meet with Qu�bec Minister of Native Affairs Pierre Corbeil this morning in Qu�bec City.

This is a follow-up to the 10 Ohiar�:ha/June 2009 meeting between Grand Chief Michael Ahr�hrhon Delisle, Jr. and Premier Jean Charest, at which time the two signed a Statement of Understanding and Mutual Respect.

The parties will discuss any and all developments as they relate to the Statement, as well as those specifically related to the current negotiations of the Qu�bec/Kahnaw�:ke Agreements (usually referred to as the �Ten Agreements�).
