Mercier Bridge lane closed for inspection

The Mohawk Council of Kahnaw�:ke would like to inform the community that the Minist�re des Transports du Qu�bec will conduct mobile inspection work on the concrete slab of the Mercier Bridge today, Thursday 6, Onerahtohk�:wa / May, 2010 from 10:30 am until 12 noon.

During this period, the Mercier Bridge will be reduced to one lane in the area where the repair work will be carried out.

The frequency of road work zones will increase through the summer months throughout Qu�bec. For summer travelers, plan your trips in advance by visiting www.quebec511.gouv.gc.ca to find out about road work schedules.

Motorists are also reminded to obey posted speed limits as you approach construction zones.
