The Mohawk Council of Kahnawà:ke would like to inform the community of the scheduled office and service closures during the holiday season.
All offices will be closed from Wednesday, December 24, 2014 until Friday, January 2, 2015, inclusive. All essential services will remain operational. Regular business hours resume on Monday, January 5, 2015.
Final recycling pick-up for the holiday period for business/organizations is Tuesday, December 23rd and the final house to house pick up is Wednesday, December 24th. During the holiday period recyclables may be dropped off at the Recycling Depot, preferably in clear blue bags.
Regular door to door recycling pickup resumes Monday, January 5th and business/organizations on Monday, January 12th.
Garbage pickup service continues uninterrupted. Community members are asked to refrain from dropping garbage off at the Recycling Depot.
The Transfer Depot will be closed December 24th to the 26th, as well as January 1st and 2nd.
