The Mohawk Council of Kahnawà:ke has been informed that Canadian Pacific railway crews will be removing stone, switches and rails in the Adirondack area beginning today (Wednesday, July 2nd) until Tuesday, July 21st.

There will be two loaders carrying stone, one excavator removing switches and a speed swing carrying rails to replace the area with straight tracks.

Work will take place during daylight hours from 8am to 6pm.
