The Environment Protection Office & K103 Radio remind Kahnawà:ke that each week in February, a new contest starts and you can Carpool for cash and bingo prizes as part of the KYC Winter Carnival.
Every Friday morning, a new winner of $50 and a Radio Bingo 4-Pack is drawn live on the K103 Rise and Shine morning show. Last Friday’s winner was Thelbert Rice, who donated the $50 Shop Kahnawake Gift Certificate back to the Kateri Food Basket.
To enter, all you have to do is Carpool and stop in at Dustin’s to donate one item to the Kateri Food Basket and all those in your Carpool can win. Carpoolers who can’t make it to Dustin’s can simply take a Selfie of your Carpool Crew and post it on any social media with #K103Carpool and you’ll be entered into the draw.
For Week #1, there were 23 carpool entries, so the goal is to have more than 23 this week.
Congratulations to Thelbert, and also to Dan Rowe & Jessica Deer who carpooled the most during Week #1.
