The Lands Unit of the Mohawk Council of Kahnawà:ke (MCK) wishes to inform Kahnawa’kehrò:non that the Spring Tioweró:ton Meeting scheduled to take place this Saturday has been postponed until further notice.
The decision to postpone the meeting was brought up from several community members who shared their concerns at an information kiosk held at the Services Complex by Ratsénhaienhs Billy Diabo. “A lot of community members don’t frequent the territory around this time of year,” stated Diabo. “We will postpone to a later date when more people are in the Territory.”
The new date for the Tioweró:ton Meeting will be announced at a later date.
