Recreation Path materials temporarily stored on Kateri Island

The Capital Unit of the Mohawk Council of Kahnawake wishes to inform the community that due to the construction of a new recreation path along the Seaway (announced September 5th), some excavated materials needed to be temporarily stored on Kateri Island.  

The materials were temporarily stored on Kateri Island in the event they needed to be reutilized for the path construction.

The temporarily stored material will be completely removed from the Island starting on Monday September 17, 2018, weather permitting.
