- View PDFThe Mohawk Council of Kahnawà:ke (MCK) has been informed by the Ministère des Transports du Québec (MTQ) that tonight’s planned work on the Mercier Bridge has been postponed. The MTQ has rescheduled this maintenance and repair work for Saturday, November 27th from 10:30pm to Sunday 10am. One (1) lane will be available in each direction in the area between the two superstructures.
Additionally, the Jacques Cartier and Champlain Bridges Incorporated has advised the MCK that the R-138 east up-ramp (from Chateauguay towards Montreal) will be closed Sunday, from 8pm until 5am on Monday. A detour via R—132 will be in place.
Please drive with caution and slow down when entering the construction zones, and respect the Move-Over Law when you see flashing lights.
The MCK reminds the public that these works are subject to change due to weather conditions, operational constraints, or work progression and that it does not take part in the scheduling or cancellation of such works.
