Investigator named in complaints case

The Mohawk Council of Kahnaw�:ke (MCK) announced that Mr. Larry Hay has been appointed as the Investigator in regard to official complaints made against Chief Carl Horn on 5, Onerahtohk�:wa/May.

The appointment is being made in accordance with the Mohawk Council of Kahnaw�:ke�s Disciplinary Measures regulations.

Mr. Hay is the former Chief of the Tyendinaga Police. He is currently the proprietor of Tyendinaga-based Intelliquest Canada, a private investigation and research company specializing in Aboriginal issues.

He is expected to present his report and recommendations to Chief & Council within 30 days after the contract is signed on 21, Ohiari�k�:wa/July.
