Executive Director, Executive Office

Description: In collaboration with the Council of Chiefs, the Executive Director directs the business strategy and orchestrates the organizational affairs, ensuring that goals and priorities set by the Council of Chiefs are affected throughout the organization. The Executive Director leads, guides and directs the organization in conjunction with the Executive Team. The Executive Director is responsible for the protection of the organization’s integrity.

Duration: Indeterminate - with a one (1) year probation period

Salary: $103,058.00 – $120,003.00 (Based on Education and Experience)

Indian Day School Settlement Coordinator, Office of the Council of Chiefs

Description: Under the administrative supervision of the OCC General Manager of Operations, the incumbent will be responsible for the establishment and implementation of coordinated support for former Indian Day School Students or Survivors, and to provide administrative and clerical support services for the project

Duration:Fixed Term (October 2020 to February 2023). Probation Period- Six (6) Months

Victims of Crime Development Technician, Justice Services

Time: Professional Service Contract (Monday, November 2, 2020 to November 1, 2020 - 52 weeks)

Description: Phase I of the Kahnawà:ke Victims of Crime Research Project researched victim needs, identified gaps in services, and determined the necessity of developing a culturally sensitive victim service in Kahnawà:ke. The Victims of Crime Development Technician will be responsible for Phase II of the Project and will execute and coordinate projects related to implementing a victims of crime service for Kahnawà:ke based on the Final Report of Phase I. This includes researching and drafting the guidelines, policies, procedures and protocols required for administering a victims of crime service for Kahnawà:ke.

The Victims of Crime Development Technician will also promote and raise awareness about victim rights and services in the community.

Duration: Professional Service Contract (Monday, November 2, 2020 to November 1, 2021 - 52 weeks)

Salary: $1,148.07 per week.
