Boil water advisory lifted

The Capital Unit of the Mohawk Council of Kahnaw�:ke is pleased to announce that the Boil Water Advisory for all residents on the East End of the Territory has been lifted.

Environmental Officers conducted water tests and have deemed the affected areas which include the Clay Mountains, Mohawk Valley, Mohawk Trail, Lot 106 (new development area), Texas, Old School House area and Route 132 safe for consuming.

The temporary cautionary measure was implemented due to the works currently being carried out on the East End Water Looping Project.
