Schedule announced for Membership Law info sessions

The Membership Department of the Mohawk Council of Kahnaw�:ke�s Social Development Unit announced that it will be holding Information Sessions to determine/consider amendments to the Kahnaw�:ke Membership Law.

The sessions will focus on the history of Membership in Kahnaw�:ke to help prepare Kahnawa�kehr�:non for the amendment process.

Sessions will be held Wednesday evenings and Saturday mornings from 8 Seskehk�:wa/September to 2 Kent�nha/October, inclusive. Wednesday sessions start at 7pm, while Saturday sessions are scheduled for 10am. All sessions will be held at the Community Room located at the Peacekeepers Station. Please register for a session to receive an information package by calling 450-638-0500.

The proposed amendments will be brought to the Community Decision Making Process upon completion of the Information Sessions.
