Rain causing flooding on roads

The Public Works Unit of the Mohawk Council of Kahnaw�:ke would like to inform the community that they are working diligently to drain flooded roads throughout the community as a result of warm weather and rain.

At this time, Public Works is working on a road to road basis. However, if your street has excessive flooding, contact Peter Stacey at the Town Garage by calling 450-632-5825 and your area will be prioritized.

Homeowners are also reminded to keep an eye on their sump pumps to ensure they are in working order to avoid their basements from flooding.
