Testing culverts on Route 207 continues

The Lands Unit of the Mohawk Council of Kahnaw�:ke would like to inform the community that drilling and testing  work is being conducted in the area of the Suzanne River on Route 207 on Wednesday, May 4th and Thursday, May 5th.

The drilling is being carried out by the firm Laboratoire ABS. Results from the drilling will be used to draw up plans for culvert replacements later this year.
 
One lane of the roadway will be closed in the area where the drilling will occur. Proper signage will be installed to minimize the impact on traffic. No work is planned on private properties.
