Mercier Bridge: One lane in one direction next three nights

The Mohawk Council of Kahnaw�:ke wishes to inform road users that the Minist�re de Transport du Quebec (MTQ) will perform works on the concrete slab on the Montreal-bound structure of the Mercier Bridge for the next three nights, beginning tonight from 9pm until 5am.

During this period only one lane will be open towards the South Shore. After midnight when the lane direction change takes place, only one lane will be open Montreal-bound.

The following traffic configuration schedule has been put in place for until further notice:

�    1pm - Midnight: Kahnaw�:ke-bound direction ONLY.
�    Midnight - 1am: Complete stoppage of traffic to reconfigure for direction change.
�    1am � Noon: Montreal-bound direction ONLY.
�    Noon � 1pm: Complete stoppage of traffic to reconfigure for direction change. 
�    Weekends: From Friday midnight to Sunday midnight one lane in each direction will be available.

This schedule is subject to change as the MTQ studies traffic patterns. The Mohawk Council of Kahnaw�:ke will keep the community informed as developments occur.
