Mercier Bridge: La Prairie ramp closed

The Mohawk Council of Kahnaw�:ke has been informed by the Jacques Cartier and Champlain Bridges Incorporated and the Minist�re des Transports that the La Prairie ramp of the Mercier Bridge will be completely closed tonight - Wednesday, July 6th from 8 pm until 5am (Thursday).

Traffic will be detoured via Route 138 west to Route 207 and back onto Route 138 east for drivers heading toward La Prairie and vice-versa for Montreal-bound drivers coming from La Prairie (see map).



The work is required to change the configuration of the work site in order for the central median to be repaired.

Reminder: The following traffic configuration schedule has been put in place following the complete closure of the Kahnaw�:ke-bound bridge earlier this month:

�    Weekdays
    o    5am to 9am - two lanes to Montreal-bound.
    o    9:45am to 2:15pm - one lane each direction.
    o    3pm to 7pm - two lanes to Kahnaw�:ke-bound.
    o    7:45pm to 4:15am - one lane each direction.

�    Weekends & Holidays
    o    One lane each direction

Please note, during direction changes both available lanes will be completely closed.
