Choosing consultation methods just got easier

The Mohawk Council of Kahnaw�:ke (MCK) is pleased to announce that over 500 Community Members have told us how they wish to be consulted on the Seigneury of Sault St Louis (SSSL) Land Grievance. For those who have yet to let us know their preferred method, the form is now available online and can be filled out at www.kahnawake.com/sssl .

Throughout the month of June, Chiefs and Technicians held Information kiosks at the Kahnaw�:ke Services Complex to ask people how they wish to be consulted and, following an information booth at the Echoes of a Proud Nation Pow-Wow, will now begin a more direct approach.

Any negotiated agreement on SSSL Land Grievance must be ratified by the community � but only following consultations. Methods to choose from include: small g roup visits; special community meetings; a consultation drop-in center; email; Facebook; telephone; or other.

Please note, being consulted does not mean you are approving any agreement.
