MCK appoints investigator in complaints case

The Mohawk Council of Kahnaw�:ke is informing the community that an Executive Directive was signed on 29 Sesk�ha/August to appoint Lisa Hollinger, Legal Counsel, to investigate the formal complaint made against Chief Carl Horn.

The complaint is in reference to statements made by Chief Horn on the K103 Partyline Talkshow on Friday, 10 Ohiar�:ha/June 2011.

According to the terms indicated in the Mohawk Council of Kahnaw�:ke Disciplinary Measures, Ms. Hollinger must present her findings and recommendations to Chief & Council within thirty (30) days of this appointment.

Ms. Hollinger was called to the Bar in 2003 and maintains her office as an independent practitioner.
