Culvert replacement in Tiower�:ton

The Lands Unit of the Mohawk Council of Kahnaw�:ke would like to inform community members that the main entrance road in the Tiower�:ton Territory will be closed for a culvert replacement beginning on Monday, July 30th.

The work is scheduled to take two (2) weeks, weather permitting. The first culvert after the Main Caretaker�s cabin will be replaced and the main road will be closed on both sides while the work is being carried out.

Community members must use the East Entrance to access the Territory beyond the main entrance. Detour signs will be erected in the area where the work is being performed.
