Mercier Bridge Montreal-bound closures

The Mohawk Council of Kahnaw�:ke (MCK) has been informed by the Jacques Cartier and Champlain Bridges Incorporated of Blitz preparation work on the Montreal-bound ramp and lanes of the Mercier Bridge for Wednesday and Thursday, May 28th and 29th, respectively.

On both days between 10pm and 5am, the up-ramp from La Prairie will be closed and the Montreal-bound span will be reduced to one lane near the entrance of the bridge.

Additionally, evening road cleaning work will be performed by the Minist�re des Transports du Qu�bec from Tuesday, May 27th to Saturday, May 31st, from 8pm to 4:30am, requiring alternating lane closures on both sides of the bridge.

The MCK reminds the public that works/closures on the Mercier Bridge are subject to change due to weather conditions, operational constraints or work progression, and that it does not take part in the scheduling or cancellation of such works.
