CP crews to repair train tracks near seaway

The Mohawk Council of Kahnawake has been informed by Canadian Pacific that crews will be performing repairs to the railway tracks south of the Seaway Lift Bridge from Wednesday, October 8th to Sunday, October 12th.

Crews will change 250 cross ties and undercut 1400 feet of track from the Seaway Lift Bridge, heading one mile south to the Adirondack Junction. There will be heavy equipment, such as loaders and backhoes in the work vicinity.

 

Vehicle traffic will not be affected at any of the level crossings in the area.
