Kahnawake Membership Law draft amendments Community Feedback Period ends Friday

The Mohawk Council of Kahnaw�:ke (MCK) wishes to remind Kahnawa�kehr�:non that the 30-day Community Feedback Period for the First Draft of proposed amendments to the Kahnaw�:ke Membership Law comes to an end this Friday, January 23, 2015 at 4pm. All feedback must be received by that time.

Hard copies of the draft amendments are available at the MCK main building reception and on the Kahnaw�:ke Legislative Coordinating Commission website ( www.kahnawakemakingdecisions ). Two versions are available: one with tracked changes and one �clean� copy.

Community members can send their comments to the MCK Membership Registrar, Rose-Ann Morris (contact info in pdf). Questions on the amendments can be answered by the Registrar or other Membership Department staff. A general feedback form is available on the website. The comments will be compiled and made available before the Community Decision Making Process hearings begin in the coming weeks.
