Mercier Bridge lane reductions and closure of ramp 132

The Mohawk Council of Kahnaw�:ke (MCK) wishes to inform road users that the Jacques Cartier and Champlain Bridges Incorporated (JCCBI) has scheduled lane and ramp closures for the Mercier Bridge for Wednesday, May 13th and Thursday, May 14th on the following schedule:

Wednesday from 9pm until Thursday 5am: closure of one of two Montreal-bound lanes and closure of Route 138 up-ramp (from Chateauguay). Detour by Route 132 up-ramp.
Thursday from 10pm until Friday 5am: closure of one of two lanes on both directions of the Bridge and a complete closure of the Route 132 up and down ramps. Montreal-bound traffic will be detoured towards the Route 138 up-ramp and La Prairie-bound traffic will be detoured towards the Route 138 down-ramp.

Detour signage will be clearly marked for all closures.

Additionally, motorists are reminded that the Minist�re des Transport du Quebec has mobile lane closures on both spans of the bridge this evening (Wednesday, May 13th) from 8pm until 4:30am for cleaning.

The MCK reminds the public that works/closures on the Mercier Bridge are subject to change due to weather conditions, operational constraints or work progression, and that it does not take part in the scheduling or cancellation of such works.
