Reminder - Christmas tree pickup tomorrow

The Waste Management Department of the Mohawk Council of Kahnaw�:ke wishes to remind the community that a door to door Christmas Tree Pickup service is taking place tomorrow (Thursday, January 12).

Trees should be free of decorations and placed curbside by 7am. It would be appreciated if the trees were placed outside tomorrow morning to avoid them from freezing into the ice and snow. 

Alternatively, trees can be placed in the wood bin at the Transfer Depot throughout the month of January for those wishing to drop off their tree directly.

The Transfer Depot is open Monday to Saturday from 8am to 4pm.

The Christmas trees collected will be sent to be chipped and processed into particle board.
