Diabo Road to be paved

The Capital Unit of the Mohawk Council of Kahnaw�:ke will be starting construction on Diabo Road this Wednesday, June 28th, weather permitting. The project consists of installing some gravel road base and asphalt installation.

There is also an area of the road that needs to be realigned so that it will be correctly positioned in the public roadway corridor. To do this, an area will need to be cleared of trees and vegetation. The local Kahnaw�:ke company Pro Cut Tree Services has been contracted to carry out these works.
