Kahnawake Legislative Coordinating Commission receives request for Cannabis legislation

The Kahnaw�:ke Legislative Coordinating Commission would like to inform the community that it has received a request for legislation for a �Kahnaw�:ke Cannabis Act.� The request came from community member Jeremiah Johnson.

The submission has been sent to the Mohawk Council of Kahnaw�:ke�s Legal Services for categorization. The community will be informed of the categorization once that process has been completed. The Kahnaw�:ke Legislative Coordinating Commission will follow its usual processes in this matter and further information will be forthcoming.
