MCK meets with Verdun Mayor and elected officials

The Mohawk Council of Kahnaw�:ke (MCK) wishes to inform the community that Verdun Borough Mayor Jean-Fran�ois Parenteau, City Councilor Marie-Jos�e Parent and a delegation from the Borough are in Kahnaw�:ke this morning to meet with Iets�nhaienhs Christine Zachary-Deom and other MCK representatives.

The agenda includes discussions on a St. Lawrence River project that Verdun is developing. The MCK will be giving background on the impacts of the St. Lawrence Seaway and making a presentation on Recreation Bay. The meeting will include a visit to the Seaway and Recreation Bay.
