Big News for Kahnaw�:ke Businesses and Schools

The Kahnaw�:ke Waste Management Department has recently joined the Mira Foundation, which has a laser printer and inkjet cartridge recycling program for businesses and schools to help protect the environment and fund a Mira dog.

Please place the accepted ink cartridges (listed below) in a box aside from your regular recyclables on your regular recycling pick-up day.

The ink cartridges accepted are:

• Lexmark
• Canon
• Dell
• Hewlett Packard
• Brother
• Samsung

Ink Cartridges not accepted:

• Xerox (please follow directions on the box to recycle Xerox ink cartridge)
• Konica Minolta
• Kyocera
• Toshiba
• Ricoh
• Oki

Though this program is intended for schools and businesses, individuals are welcome to participate.
