Water and Sanitation Policy enters 30-day feedback period

The Mohawk Council of Kahnaw�:ke (MCK) wishes to advise the community that the draft Water and Sanitation Policy is available for viewing on its website and has entered a 30-day Feedback Period, which will conclude on Wednesday, October 24th, 2018 at 4pm.

This policy is required to comply with the Kahnaw�:ke Sanitary Conditions Law which specifically covers the protection of drinking waters and sanitation disposal systems. The Water and Sanitation policy has been developed to provide the necessary guidelines, principles, and activities to ensure proper services for drinking water and sanitation. More importantly, the policy is committed to protecting the health and well-being of our community. 

The document is available for viewing on the Public Documents page of Kahnawake.com. Feedback can be submitted in writing to Mohawk.Council@mck.ca.
