Formal Reading of Kahnawake Cannabis Control Law completed, ratification by Council expected on Monday

The Kahnaw�:ke Legislative Coordinating Commission (KLCC) would like to advise the community that the Formal Reading of the Kahnaw�:ke Cannabis Control Law took place today.

The Law was read in its entirety, followed by the signing of the Certification of Process by Iets�nhaienhs Rhonda Kirby and, KLCC Coordinator Leslie Skye, Technician Dennis Diabo, and KLCC Community Representatives Keisha Goodleaf and Vernon Goodleaf.  

The event was streamed live by K1037. It was recorded and will be available for viewing on social media platforms and the KLCC website. Additionally, it will be broadcast on Paul�s Cable Community Channel.

The Law is available for viewing at www.kahnawakemakingdecisions.com in both the final �clean� version and the version that includes the tracked changes from community feedback.

The Law will be presented for Ratification at the duly-convened Council Meeting scheduled for Monday, 10 Tsoth�hrha/December 2018.
