Kahnawake Survey on Bill S-3

Bill S-3 is a Federal Bill passed by the government of Canada entitled An Act to amend the Indian Act in response to the Superior Court of Quebec Decision in Descheneaux c. Canada, on December 22, 2017.

The Mohawk Council of Kahnaw�:ke�s S-3 Working Group is conducting a survey to gauge the opinion of Kahnawa′kehr�:non on what effects that Bill S-3 will have on Kahnaw�:ke.
 
The survey will be conducted in-person and online at www.kahnawake.com/s3survey until 11:59pm on Wednesday, April 3rd. Kiosks will be held at the Kahnaw�:ke Services Complex on March 19, 22 and 29 from 9am to 4pm for in-person surveys.

The results of the survey will help the Kahnaw�:ke S-3 Defense Coalition to develop the Collective Community Position on Bill S-3.
