Important Notice from MCK Client-Based Services

The Mohawk Council of Kahnaw�:ke wishes to advise the community that Client-Based Services and the Housing Unit will not be taking �walk-in� clients until further notice.

All clients requiring services from Social Assistance, Office of the Kanien�keh�:ka Registry, Recreation or Housing should call the office to speak to staff directly (450-638-0500). Appointments will be scheduled if required, and only if service isn�t able to be attended to over the telephone.

As the next few days are important for Social Assistance clients we are asking that they call the office in regard to their Social Assistance return (March 15th), or to report income later in the month (March 25th). Staff will address matters as much as possible over the phone, and through digital means, to gather documents.

This is strictly an interim measure and the time frame will be updated in collaboration with the recommendations of the COVID-19 Task Force for the best interests of the community.
