Call for Community Rep Tioweroton Committee

The Lands Unit of the Mohawk Council of Kahnaw�:ke would like to inform the community that it is seeking a member of the community to sit as a Community Representative on the Tiower�:ton Committee for a three-year term.

Interested applicants must meet the following eligibility criteria:

• be eighteen (18) years of age;
• be on the Kahnawake Kanien�keh�:ka Registry;
• possess interest and knowledge of the Tiower�:ton Territory; and
• attend monthly and seasonal Tiower�:ton Community Meetings.

Interested community members must submit a letter of intent to the Tiower�:ton Manager outlining his/her desire to participate on the Committee. Letters must be submitted by 4pm on Friday, June 26, 2020, to Tara.mccomber@mck.ca.

A vote for the potential candidate will take place in July.
