Chiefs to Attend AFN Annual Assembly

Grand Chief Michael Ahr�hrhon Delisle, Jr. and Chief Kenneth McComber will be attending the Assembly of First Nations Annual General Assembly this week.

The meetings will be held in Quebec City from Tuesday through Thursday (15-17, Ohiari�k�:wa/July).

Agenda items include follow up on the Canadian Government�s Residential Schools Apology; the United Nations Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples; Border Crossing; Education; Child Welfare; and Consultation & Accommodation.
