Overnight Ramp Closures for Inspections

The Mohawk Council of Kahnaw�:ke (MCK) has been informed by the Jacques Cartier and Champlain Bridges Incorporated (JCCBI) that overnight inspections will require the closure of the ramps on the Kahnaw�:ke side of the Mercier Bridge.

These closures will take place from Sunday, August 30th to Thursday, September 3rd on the following schedule:

� Sunday, August 30 � 11pm to 5am � Closure of Ramp #3 - R-138 west towards Chateauguay 

� Monday, August 31 � 11pm to 5am � Closure of Ramp #2 � R-132 west towards Montreal     

� Tuesday, September 1 � 11pm to 5am � Closure of Ramp #4 -R-138 east towards Montreal   

� Wednesday, September 2 � 11pm to 5am � Closure of Ramp #2 -R-132 east towards La Prairie

JCCBI and its contractors will be inspecting the ramps and pavement using ground penetrating radar. This inspection is required to determine the condition of the ramps and pavement. Detours will be in place for these closures.

The MCK reminds the public that these works are subject to change due to weather conditions, operational constraints, or work progression and that it does not take part in the scheduling or cancellation of such works.
