CP Holiday Train to deliver virtual concert

The  Mohawk Council of Kahnaw�:ke wishes to announce that the CP �Holiday Train at Home� virtual concert will be held on Saturday, December 12th at 8pm.

Headlining the concert will be Serena Ryder and The Trews, with featured performances by JoJo Mason, Six Nations� own Logan Staats, and Kelly Prescott. The show will last for approximately 1 hour and 15min. 

The Train�s annual stop not only provides a shot of Christmas Spirit for Kahnawa�kehr�:non and their neighbors but has been an important boost for the Kateri Food Basket, which has been able to collect non-perishable food items and cash donations on-site.

Due to the pandemic, the Holiday Train will not be running this year, but CP will still donate to food banks that normally host the popular Train. In Kahnaw�:ke, the Kateri Food Basket has hosted the Train since 2005.

The show will be streaming via the CP Facebook page facebook.com/canadian.pacific or @CanadianPacific and will remain there for future viewing until the end of the year.

Discussions are taking place in the hopes of organizing a Kahnaw�:ke event to assist the Food Bank while the concert is underway. Details will be forthcoming should these efforts come to fruition.
