REMINDER - Nomination Day tomorrow

The Office of the Electoral Officer wishes to remind the community that Nomination Day for the upcoming Mohawk Council of Kahnaw�:ke Election will be held tomorrow, Saturday, May 29th at the Karonhian�nhnha School Gymnasium from 10am to 12 noon.

To ensure this year�s election process adheres to the safety measures put in place by the Kahnaw�:ke COVID-19 Task Force, modifications to the usual process for in-person events have been made. Signage will be erected to provide clear instructions on how to proceed at the site. Masks must be worn at all times.

The Electoral Officer wishes to remind the community of the importance of being prepared and having nominators and all required documents on hand for the nomination process. It is recommended that potential candidates and nominators arrive on time to confirm intent within the allotted time frame.
