Holiday Train Public Transportation

The Mohawk Council of Kahnaw�:ke is pleased to announce that the Public Works Department is providing public transportation to the famous Canadian Pacific Railway �Holiday Train� on Wednesday, 26 Kentenhk�:wa/November.

Two buses, driven by Arlene Jacobs and Cindy Kirby, will make routine stops at various locations in the community, beginning at 6 pm. For a detailed listing of pickup locations, visit Kahnawake.com.

The train is expected to arrive at Adirondack Junction at 7pm, with a half-hour show scheduled to begin at 7:15pm. This year, two well-know Canadian artists will perform: Melanie Doane and Wide Mouth Mason�s Shaun Verreault. The train will depart at 8pm.

Once again, community members are being urged to make donations of cash or unwrapped new toys for the Kahnaw�:ke Food Basket Committee. All of the proceeds will be distributed to those less fortunate by the Committee.
