Notice re: Bell Canada bills

The Mohawk Council of Kahnaw�:ke is advising community members to check their bills/statements from Bell Canada.

The MCK has been made aware that some Kahnawa�kehr�:non have been charged GST and PST on their monthly phone bills. Some residents who subscribe to Bell�s Internet service have also been charged tax.

�Bell Canada has been made aware of the situation, and we are now working together to try and resolve this issue,� said MCK Tax Specialist John Latour.

If you have been charged tax by Bell Canada for either your phone or Internet service, please contact Mr. Latour at 450-632-7500.

In order to correct this matter you will be required to provide the MCK with your name, phone number and Bell account/client number.
