Excavation and preparatory works under Mercier Bridge

The Mohawk Council of Kahnaw�:ke has been informed by the Jacques Cartier and Champlain Bridges Incorporated that excavation and preparatory work will begin tomorrow (Thursday, November 25th) in the approved location under the Mercier Bridge.

This work is for an electrical control hut/building and is expected to last approximately three (3) weeks. Construction/installation of the building will be done by the Mohawk Bridge Consortium and its subcontractors and will likely begin in the new year.

The MCK reminds the public that these works are subject to change due to weather conditions, operational constraints, or work progression and that it does not take part in the scheduling or cancellation of such works.
