More COVID-19 Vaccine clinics children 5 to 11, and booster shots for those 70-plus

The Kateri Memorial Hospital Centre (KMHC) and Public Safety Commission wishes to inform the community that additional COVID-19 Vaccination Clinics for children aged 5 to 11 years of age have been scheduled. Additionally, booster shots for those aged 70 and over (3rd doses) are also available.

Vaccination clinics will be held at the Knights of Columbus Hall on the following dates:

Third doses (ages 70+):

• Tuesday December 7:        12pm to 2:30pm
• Wednesday December 8:   12pm to 2:30pm
• Friday December 10:          12pm to 2:30pm
• Saturday December 11:      9am to 12pm

Children (Ages 5-11):

• Tuesday December 7:        3pm to 8pm
• Wednesday December 8:   3pm to 8pm
• Friday December 10:          3pm to 8pm

• Saturday December 11:     1:30pm to 4:30

Parents and Guardians of children within this age group can now book appointments by visiting the KMHC�s portal via Clic Sant�. A parent/guardian must accompany the child in order to provide informed consent. It is recommended to keep other children/family members at home in an effort to keep the number of people within the vaccination clinic at a minimum.

If a parent/guardian cannot attend the vaccination clinic with their child, a written consent form must be completed and sent with the adult accompanying the child.

As previously announced by the Kahnawake Education Center, vaccinations for this age group are not mandatory to attend any school in Kahnaw�:ke. However, it is highly encouraged to have your children vaccinated to further decrease their level of risk of COVID-19 complications.
