MCK names Chief of Staff, Director of Operations

Chief & Council are pleased to announce that they have named Michael O�Brien to the position of Chief of Staff, while Dwaine White becomes Director of Operations within the Office of the Council of Chiefs.

Mr. O�Brien is currently the Director of the Social Development Unit where, among several key accomplishments, he recently oversaw the planning and construction of 28 semi-detached homes. He had previously held several key positions in the Assembly of First Nations. He is expected to assume his new duties full-time on 1, Oneraht�kha/April.

Mr. White is a veteran of 25 years within the Mohawk Council of Kahnaw�:ke � approximately half with the OCC. Most recently he has been serving as Interim Administrator for the past 16 months. He begins his new job immediately.

The OCC provides support services to the Council chiefs, including negotiators, advisors, technicians and support staff.
